  • The Weeping Radish is North Carolina's oldest microbrewery. They have been brewing beer since the beginning according to the Reinheitsgebot principle, that beer must be brewed using only four ingredients: hops, malt, yeast, and water. After brewing Reinheitsgebot beers for nearly twenty years, they were ready to expand their principles to the food chain. The average processed food travels around 2000 miles; Weeping Radish wanted to reduce that to less than 200. They created "Reinheitsgebot Food" with no additives and chemicals for their butchery, where they continue to work with local farms for free-range meats in all their sausages and charcuterie.
